Surround Sound Speaker Installation – Bose Acoustamass
Catamount recently installed a Bose Acoustamass Surround Sound Speaker System in a private residence. In addition we installed outdoor speakers on the patio as well as two pairs of stereo speakers in separate bedrooms. The clients were very pleased with the work done and offered this:

LCD projector installation – Media room
The Purple Room Catamount recently completed a media room LCD projector installation in fabulous purple colored room. The projector was an Epson EX31. The mount is a Peerless PRS-UNV which as universal mount that can be used on any projector. Because the ceiling was high we also included a Peerless EXT-101 12″ extension pipe so that the image could be projected with minimal keystone adjustment.
Input Plate
An audio visual input plate was installed in the front of the room so that in the future the client will be able to hook up their Wii and have it projected on the Elite MX80 screen.

The second VGA input is reserved for guest laptop.
No more plugging and unplugging the classroom PC!
•SP Controls Pixie Plus control panel.
The Pixie now controls the projector’s power, input source and video mute functions as well as speaker volume. No more remotes!
• JBL 24c Micro ceiling speakers.
These provide robust stereo sound and replace lackluster desktop computer speakers.
Summary
Previously instructors were having difficulties using their projectors. From class to class there was no telling how the wiring would be set up upon arrival. They also relied on a few elusive remote controls that circulated throughout the school. These conditions resulted in instructors fumbling with cables and sometimes having to stand on chairs to turn projectors on/off. Many of the projectors had been thrown out of alignment when Catamount arrived. Catamount installed a turn-key operational system that provided consistency and simplicity of use to their classroom AV systems. We were happy to create a professional system that any person can operate.

Restaurant Sound System Installation
Catamount installed a new sound system at Justine’s Brasserie in Austin.
We created two stereo zones using the clients Yamaha receiver with a Phoenix Gold IH-VSS2 two-zone speaker selector . The speakers are indoor/outdoor commercial models by Atlas Sound, the SM52T-B.
Catamount provided them with a Stanton SMX.202 DJ Mixer to be able to switch between their turntable and iPod as well as preview other sources on a headphones.
The inaugural song piped over their system was, Rocket 88 by Ike Turner and the Kings of Rhythm. Considered to be the first rock and roll song ever recorded. It was an appropriate beginning for this fine establishment.
