Catamount recently installed a sound system at Contigo Austin. The owners have created an atmosphere that is laid back but with much attention to detail. Their experiences in the restaurant business informed their years-old wish list for the ideal sound system. We were pleased to provide an audio solution for Contigo.

Multi-zone Restaurant Sound System

Catamount AV installed a multi-zone  sound system for the new Tandori Bistro restaurant in South Austin. This system is powered by the Peavey PZS™140RA Mixer/Amplifier

The 140RA allows for up to five audio sources to be distributed to up to four speaker zones throughout the restaurant.

The restaurant owners will be able to route their DirectTV, ipod, laptop or CD player to any or all of the three zones they have designated. Their upgrade options include a microphone input for large gatherings and a fourth zone for either outdoor or foyer speakers.

Restaurant Sound System Installation

Catamount installed a new sound system at Justine’s Brasserie in Austin.
We created two stereo zones using the clients Yamaha receiver with a Phoenix Gold IH-VSS2 two-zone speaker selector . The speakers are indoor/outdoor commercial models by Atlas Sound, the SM52T-B.

Catamount provided them with a Stanton SMX.202 DJ Mixer to be able to switch between their turntable and iPod as well as preview other sources on a headphones.

The inaugural song piped over their system was, Rocket 88 by Ike Turner and the Kings of Rhythm. Considered to be the first rock and roll song ever recorded. It was an appropriate beginning for this fine establishment.
